Lamb Ouzi & Fetush
Lamb Ouzi wrapped in delicate Phyllo dough and baked!
Tahini Sauce served with fresh Veggies!
The steam poured out of the Ouzi when I cut into it - YUM!

Dinner: Dinner out with a Friend
Lamb Ouzi - Middle Eastern Dish - blended with carrots, sweet peas, corn, green beans, onions, almonds, raisins and basmati rice baked in a phyllo jacket. And in this case, with Lamb, something I rarely have and never cook at home.  This was delicious!!
It was served with Fetush, a salad made with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, green onion, bell pepper, radish, olives, fresh parsley, raisins, almonds, olive oil & lemon juice.  Served with a Tahini sauce topped with Zaatar (a Middle Eastern spice blend).  A perfect refreshing balance to the Ouzi.  Best meal I've had out in a long time!
Lots of Water

Dessert:  Passed on this after eating all that yummy rice!  But it wasn't easy saying no to the homemade Bakalava - a dessert made of phyllo dough layered with pistachios, walnuts and cinnamon topped with honey.  This just gave me a reason to return another time!
