Salad Bar Salad with Lunch!

Daily Tidbit:   I love Salad Bars!  Here are some tips to keep it healthy:

Frosted Shredded Bite Sized Wheats with Walnuts
 
Breakfast: Frosted Shredded Bite Sized Wheats with Walnuts
1 cup Trader Joe's Frosted Shredded Bite Sized Wheats
1 cup Fat Free Milk
2 tbsp plain chopped Walnuts
5oz Orange Juice
 
Regular Coffee, a shake of Pure Ground Cinnamon & a splash of Fat Free Milk

2 Baja Chicken Taco


Restaurant Lunch:  Salad Bar & Baja Chicken Tacos
1 trip around the Salad Bar, loading up on Spinach, Cucumbers, Mushrooms, Red Onions, Carrots, Tomatoes, Zucchini, Peas, Broccoli, Hard Boiled Eggs, Sunflower Seeds and 2-3 tbsp "Light" Ranch Dressing - as you can see, I loaded my plate as much as it would hold - this is one of my fav salads!
2 Baja Chicken Tacos: Spicy chicken with Mozzarella & Feta, Grilled Peppers & Onions and served with a Chile-Lime Sauce (I didn't eat the actual tortilla shells, I just focused on eating the yummy stuff inside them)
Water with Lemon 
Decaf Coffee, a shake of Pure Ground Cinnamon & a splash of Fat Free Milk

Snack: 1/4 cup lightly salted dry roasted Peanuts, Water with Lemon

Whole Wheat Pizza & Avocado

Dinner:  Pizza!
1 large slice of Plain Whole Wheat Pizza made with Whole Wheat pizza dough, No Salt Added Organic Marinara & Part Skim Low Moisture Mozzarella Cheese
1 miniature sliver of the same Pizza, about 1/4 the size of one in the above pic
1/2 Avocado
Red Wine

Dessert:  1 Organic Gala Apple, Water
