Men's Health:  Prevent a Pig-Out!

Daily Tidbit:    I love Men's Health Tip #7 for Preventing a Pig OutDelay, Don't Deny!  Check it out:

Shredded Wheat Cereal with Walnuts

Breakfast: Shredded Wheat Cereal & Walnuts
1 cup Plain Shredded Wheat (not frosted/ no sugar!)
1 cup Fat Free Milk
2 tbsp Plain chopped Walnuts
5oz Orange Juice
Regular Coffee, sprinkle Cinnamon, splash Fat Free Milk

*Trader Joe's Shredded Wheat Cereal has just 2 ingredients:  Wheat & Vitamin E for freshness.  That is it, nothing else, I love it!

Lunch: Wasa Crispbread with Spinach Dip

2 Multi Grain Wasa Crispbreads topped with
Spinach Ricotta Spread (recipe below)
sliced Red Onion
sliced raw Zucchini
served with Carrots & 5 Green Olives

Snack:  Nothing needed - those Crispbreads are so filling!

Fries & Veggies

Dinner out with the Fam:  Pizza, Fries & Veggies
Side order of French Fries & Mixed Sauteed Veggies (Zucchini, Onion, Tomatoes, Broccoli all sauteed in Oil & Garlic) shared with the whole Family, I ate twice of what is shown in the above pic, +
2.5 slices of standard super yummy Plain Pizza (no pic, it was too dark in the restaurant for my camera!)

Gala Apple

Dessert:  Organic Gala Apple, Water

Spinach Ricotta Spread Recipe:

Into food processor put:
1 frozen (thawed) box chopped Spinach 1 can Chick Peas, drained/ rinsed  1/4 cup Part Skim Ricotta Cheese 1/4 cup Neufchatel Cheese Juice from 1/2 Lemon 1 tbsp EVOO Salt, to taste
Puree to desired consistency.

*Note that I used Chick Peas, but I think they made the spread a little too dense.  Next time I would make it with White Cannellini Beans instead for a lighter creamier texture.
