PBB Wrap (Peanut Butter & Banana) for Breakfast!

Daily Tidbit:  A Wrap is a Wrap is a Wrap?

Nope!  At the store a couple days ago I realized that there can be a big difference between the nutrition in different wraps!  I have been purchasing Whole Wheat Mission Brand Wraps, but noticed some pretty substantial differences between them and the Santa Fe Brand, as outlined below:

So, for me Santa Fe beats out Mission in almost every way possible:  more protein, more fiber, less calories, less carbs, less sugar, and better fats.  Sorry Mission, but at about the same price (at Sam's Club) my choice to buy the Santa Fe brand is a no-brainer.  The Santa Fe tortillas also have a chewier texture and nice subtle grilled flavor too!  I'm a convert!

Breakfast:  PBB Wrap!
1 tbsp Low Sodium All Natural Peanut Butter
1 Banana
1 Whole Grain Wrap
5 oz. OJ
Regular Coffee, black


White Fish Salad for Lunch!

Lunch:  White Fish Salad 
Frisée Salad Greens
2 White Fish Fillets, chopped
1/2 cup Carrots, grated
1/4 cup raw Zucchini, cubed
3 tbsp Red Onions
1 tbsp Trader Joe's Balsamic Vinaigrette
Juice from 1/2 Lime
Water with Lime
Regular Coffee, black


For Snack I enjoyed 1/4 of this Bar!

Snack:  1/2 oz. Dark Chocolate (Trader Joe's 72% Cacao), Water


Snack:  1/4 cup dry roasted, lightly salted Peanuts, Fat Free Milk


Steak Fajita Wrap for Dinner!

Dinner:  Restaurant:  Steak Fajita Wrap
Marinated grilled sirloin steak, bell peppers, onions, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomato with cholula ranch sauce - YUM!
Water with Lemon
White Wine

Very happy to report that I gave all my Fries to my children!  I cannot eat just 1 or 2 Fries.  If I have 1, I'll eat them all!  So it's easier for me to not have any and share, than to try to just enjoy a few.  And I ate enough Fries yesterday at lunch!


Dessert:  Nothing tonight.
