Brazil Nuts
 
Daily Tidbit:   I enjoyed some Brazil Nuts with one of my Snacks today.   Like most nuts, they provide lots of health benefits.  WebMD lists them as on of the top 10 foods to boost Male Health, check it out:

Pina Colada Smoothie with Spinach


Breakfast:  Oatmeal with Cinnamon & Walnuts with Smoothie
1/2 cup plain Oatmeal (uncooked),  microwaved with
1 cup 1% Milk
2 tbsp chopped Plain Walnuts &
2-3 shakes of Plain Cinnamon on top
5 oz Pina Colada Smoothie, with Spinach (recipe below)
Regular Coffee, splash 1% Milk

2 Over Easy Eggs, on top of Sauteed Mushrooms & Onions


Lunch:  2 Over Easy Eggs, on top of Sauteed Mushrooms & Onions
1 slice Reduced Fat Provolone (not pictured)
Decaf Coffee, splash 1% Milk

Snack:  1/4 cup lightly salted Mixed Nuts (Brazil Nuts, Pistachios, Almonds, Peanuts & Pecans)

Snack:  1 tbsp All Natural, Low Sodium Creamy Peanut Butter (old-school, eaten right off the spoon!), 1% Milk

Snack:  1/2 Avocado with Organic Stone Ground Blue Corn Tortilla Chips, Water

Dinner: Plain Whole Wheat Pizza
4 small slices (half the pizza) of Pizza made with storebought refrigerated Whole Wheat pizza Dough, topped with 1 cup No Salt Added Organic Marinara and 6 oz Part Skim Mozzarella Cheese
Hot Red Chili Pepper Sauce dotted on top of each slice (1 tsp = 5 Calories & 0 Sodium!)
Water

Pina Colada Smoothie, with Spinach, Recipe:

Into blender put:

1.5 cups All Natural Low Fat Plain Yogurt
2 Bananas
2 cups fresh cut Pineapple (frozen would work just fine)

4 tbsp unsweetened Coconut Flakes
1 large handful Spinach

 

Blend and serve!
