Meatballs & Peas Marinara with Cheddar Cheese & Avocado for Lunch!

Daily Tidbit:  Happy New Year!  I hope you all enjoyed a great ending to 2012, full of friends, family and good food of course.  All the best to you and your family in 2013; may Health and Happiness be yours!


Plain Oatmeal with Cinnamon & Walnuts

Breakfast:  Plain Oatmeal with Cinnamon & Walnuts
1/2 cup uncooked Plain Oatmeal, heated in Microwave with:
1 cup Fat Free Milk, topped with: 

Plain Ground Cinnamon &
2 tbsp plain Chopped Walnuts
5 oz Organic Orange Juice (from Concentrate)
Regular Coffee, sprinkle Cinnamon, splash Fat Free Milk


Meatballs & Peas Marinara with Cheddar Cheese & Avocado
Lunch:  Meatballs & Peas in Marinara
4 small all Beef Meatballs cooked with:
Organic No Salt Added Marinara &
3/4 cup Green Sweet Peas, topped with
2 tbsp worth of Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese and 
1/2 Avocado, chopped
1 Clementine (not pictured)
Water with Lemon


Regular Coffee, 1/2 tsp unsweetened 100% Dark Chocolate Cocoa, splash Fat Free Milk


Malai Kofta
Chicken Curry
Chicken Saag
Bhaghain Bhartha

Dinner: New Years Eve Out for Indian!
A large group of us shared a bunch of different things.  This is my fav way to eat because then I get to try a little bite of everything!  I had a serving of each of these:

Malai Kofta: Vegetarian Meatballs in a nutty cream sauce
Curry Chicken:  Curry Spiced Chicken
Chicken Saag:  Chicken served in a Spinach Curry Sauce
Bhaghain Bhartha: Vegetarian Dish made with Eggplant and Tomatoes in spices
2 slices of Naan bread
4 tbsp of White Basmati Rice, about 1 tbsp of rice to go with each of the sauces listed above 
Sparkling Wine to start & then Red Wine

Dessert: Just a little more Wine!  HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
